Dr. Sandeep Pisharody is an Associate Technology Officer within the Technology Office at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Within this role, his responsibilities include facilitating the strategic advancement of the Laboratory's internal R&D investments; developing innovation challenges to generate creative and novel solutions to drive progress; and aiding in the organization of the Laboratory's technology development strategy. His research interests include artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, cloud computing, cyber modeling and simulation, cyber security, cyber system assessments, software-defined networks, and zero trust architectures. He has multiple peer-reviewed publications, a U.S. Patent and a book. Prior to his time at Lincoln Laboratory, Pisharody had federal government and private sector experience designing, building and securing large-scale data architectures. He earned a PhD in Computer Science from Arizona State University (2017), MS Electrical Engineering (2006), BS Electrical Engineering (2004) and BS Computer Engineering (2004) from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
